Problem Note 46168: SAS® Web Report Studio might not e-mail a link to the expected view of the report
When you e-mail a link to a SAS Web Report Studio report, the link renders the last-saved version of the report. If you made unsaved changes to the report, the e-mail recipient will not see those changes. Changes include specific prompt selections, filtering, sorting, drilling, expanding, and any other actions that change the definition of the report.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue. After the hot fix is applied to version 4.3, SAS Web Report Studio prompts you to save changes before it generates the link. If you have the ability to save reports, you can complete the Save As dialog box to save your changes, continue to send a link to the last-saved version of the report, or cancel the action altogether. If you do not have the ability to save reports, then a link to the last-saved version of the report is e-mailed unless you cancel the action.
Beginning with version 4.31_M2, you can e-mail a link to the current view of the report without first saving the view.
